Arnold E. Schwartz    Partner 

As a law student, Mr. Schwartz served on the Tulane Moot Court Board and was the winner of the Tulane Moot Court Trial Competition. Following law school, he received a commission in the United States Navy Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps, in which he served from 19681974, achieving the rank of lieutenant commander. Mr. Schwartz joined Adams and Reese in 1968 and has served in firm management positions throughout his career. He served as the chairman of the firm's Executive Committee from 1995-1998 and has been the leader of various practice teams, including the firm's Commercial Practice Team. He currently serves as partner-in-charge of the firm's New Orleans office, a position he has held since 1999.

As one of the firm's most experienced litigators, Mr. Schwartz has handled litigation matters in the United States District Courts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Texas, the 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court of the United States, as
